Ocean Waves

At a weekend retreat a couple of weeks ago, I worked on my Ocean Waves quilt. This was an exchange in 2007 with about 12-14 swappers. We did 800+ half squared triangles in reproduction fabric. It took a couple of hours of staring at the design wallto get all the pieces together. I had the center blocks sewn. I had baggies of outside borders marked “top”, “bottom”, “left side”, and “right side.” It still was a challenge to get the blocks where they should go. At first, I had the quilt on the design wall going horizontal; thinking that I had 4 more rows to put together.
